TikTok star Sonu Nayak films video on bridge in Ahmedabad amid lockdown; arrested

Ahmedabad: A TikTok celebrity was arrested in Ahmedabad allegedly after she recorded a video at a bridge during the COVID-19 lockdown. Identified as Sonu Nayak, the TikTok fame is a resident of Kundaliyavas area of Isanpur, Ahmedabad.  

Nayak was arrested after she uploaded a TikTok video which had been filmed at the Isanpur bridge during the lockdown. The video had been made at around 9 pm on Monday. 

Nayak was released on bail soon after she was arrested. The police sprung into action after the video uploaded by Nayak went viral on social media. The TikTok user had been arrested for violating the lockdown. 

Sonu Nayak also works as a nurse at a private hospital. According to JM Solanki, inspector of the Isanpur police station, Nayak went to the Isanpur bridge on Monday night and allegedly filmed a video. 

Solanki told The Times of India, "This is our Isanpur village. Modiji open the lockdown (then laughs) and again says that please show us by sleeping on the bridge when the lockdown opens. " 

Accused released on bail 

After the video reached the police, they reverse tracked Nayak and were able to locate her on Wednesday. Following this, the police arrested the 21-year-old nurse. Nayak, however, was released on bail later as the sentence for such an offence is less than seven years. 


Recently, a TikTok star identified as Faizal Siddiqui received widespread backlash after he posted a video of him allegedly glorifying acid attacks on women. In the video, Faizal throws a liquid at a woman after she betrays I'm. Following this, the woman appears with paint on her face, which allegedly symbolises the acid burns. TikTok suspended Faizal's account after the video went viral.

Adorable! Couple recreates 28-year-old photo in similar outfits at same place

A couple who recreated a picture that they clicked 28 years ago is melting the hearts of netizens. Raymon 'Ray' Michael Puzon took to Twitter to share two photographs of his parents standing at a memorial at Lingayen Beach in the Philippines.
