'We have to win this coronavirus war together': Rishi Kapoor's last tweet

Rishi Kapoor, in his last tweet, had appealed to all Indians to come together to fight the war against coronavirus. Check out his last tweet below:


Mumbai: A day after the demise of Irrfan Khan, the Indian cinema and Bollywood fans received another shocking news on Thursday morning as veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away. Kapoor was 67.
Kapoor was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Wednesday after he complained that he was not feeling well.
The 67-year-old actor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. He underwent treatment in New York and returned to India in September 2019.
Kapoor who was quite active on social media had not posted anything on Twitter since April 2. His Twitter handle was @chintskap.
His last tweet was an appeal to all Indians on the fight against coronavirus.
"An appeal to all brothers and sisters from all social status and faiths. Please don’t resort to violence,stone throwing or lynching. Doctors,Nurses,Medics, Policemen etc..are endangering their lives to save you. We have to win this Coronavirus war together. Please. Jai Hind!" Kapoor had tweeted on April 2.
The tweet has collected over 30,100 likes and has been retweeted more than 3,400 times.
"I do not think people are understanding.Any joke,barb, comment on my life style, that will make me block you. Now up to you!" Kapoor's Twitter bio reads. He had joined Twitter in January 2010. He had over 3.5 million followers and was following 22 people.
"He is no more. He has passed away," his brother Randhir Kapoor told PTI.
