‘Rishi Kapoor .. gone.. I am destroyed!’ – Amitabh Bachchan makes shocking announcement; deletes tweet later

Rishi Kapoor's death comes a day after his 'D-Day' co-star Irrfan Khan passed away in Mumbai.


Mumbai: The death of Rishi Kapoor, one of Bollywood's most versatile actors, took everyone by shock on Thursday. The news of Rishi Kapoor’s death was broken by megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Twitter.
"T 3517 - He's GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed!," Amitabh tweeted this morning.
However, he deleted the tweet a bit later.
Released in 2018, Rishi Kapoor's last Bollywood film was '102 Not Out'. Amitabh Bachchan was his co-star in the film.
Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan were seen together in many hit movies like ​ ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Coolie’, ‘Kabhie Kabhie’. 
The 67-year-old actor was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday morning after complaining that he was feeling unwell. Wife Neetu Kapoor was at his side.
Rishi Kapoor's death comes a day after his 'D-Day' co-star Irrfan Khan passed away in Mumbai.
"Our dear Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully at 8:45 am IST in hospital today after a two-year battle with leukaemia. The doctors and medical staff at the hospital said he kept them entertained to the last," the family said in a statement.
"He remained jovial and determined to live to the fullest right through two years of treatment across two continents. Family, friends, food and films remained his focus and everyone who met him during this time was amazed at how he did not let his illness get the better of him," it added. 

Rishi Kapoor returned to India in September 2019, after undergoing treatment for his illness in the US for 11 months. 
Some of his outstanding films as a romantic hero are 'Karz', 'Chandni', 'Laila Majnu', 'Rafoo Chakkar', 'Heena' and 'Saagar'.

Adorable! Couple recreates 28-year-old photo in similar outfits at same place

A couple who recreated a picture that they clicked 28 years ago is melting the hearts of netizens. Raymon 'Ray' Michael Puzon took to Twitter to share two photographs of his parents standing at a memorial at Lingayen Beach in the Philippines. While the first picture was clicked in 1992, the second was clicked on January 11. The 1992 photo shows his mother wearing a red shirt along with white trousers and his father sported a brown shirt with a white neckline and beige-coloured pants. The new photo clicked on January 11 shows the parents striking the same pose in similar outfits at the same place.
