Here's how you can see deleted whatsapp messages

This third-party app lets users see all the deleted messages on WhatsApp. The app is currently only available for Android users.

Since launching in 2009, WhatsApp has quickly become the world’s most popular text and voice messaging application. Specializing in cross-platform messaging, WhatsApp is a free service that lets users message one another seamlessly between mobile and desktop devices.
WhatsApp is known for its enhanced privacy features, like end-to-end encryption, and its free, web-based international calling. Read on to find out how you can leverage the Facebook-owned messaging giant to make free international calls. Apart from messages, they could remove photos, videos, or audio messages, thereby not letting anyone see what you might have sent by mistake. The feature is still quite popular but it seems that there’s actually a way to bypass this, well at least on Android.

How to see deleted WhatsApp messages

If you have an Android smartphone, follow these steps to see deleted messages.:
  • Download and install WhatsRemoved+ from Google Play.
  • Once downloaded, open the app and finish setting it up by granting access to all the permissions the app asks for.
  • After granting the permissions, go back the app and now you'll be asked to select the app/ apps of which you want to save the notifications and detect changes. From the list below, select WhatsApp and tap Next.
  • On the next screen tap Yes, Save Files followed by tapping Allow. This will finish setting up the app and it will be ready for use.
  • From then on every notification that you receive on WhatsApp, including the deleted messages will be present on WhatsRemoved+ app. All you need to do is to open the app and from the top bar select WhatsApp.
  • There's no such app available for iOS, which is good for your privacy but not good if you need to see deleted WhatsApp messages.
NOTE: A third-party app called WhatsRemoved+ can help you reveal deleted messages. Of course, before we tell you all about it, it is notable that the app is not fully reliable as It could potentially put all your messages including bank balance, OTPs, etc. at risk. So it is advisable to only use this app until and unless you are absolutely sure and need the deleted messages at any cost. The app has got a rating of 4.3 on the Play Store, which suggests that it has been working well for users. Moreover, these apps also have certain limitations such as you can only recover the deleted messages with which you have interacted. Here, interaction means swiping the notification from the notification bar or floating message. Also, once you have restarted your smartphone, the notification log is cleared from the Android system making it impossible to retrieve messages even when third-party apps are used.
