Egyptian equestrian Nayel Nassar confirmed his engagement with Jennifer Katharine Gates, the eldest daughter of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates on Wednesday. Nassar, who is a professional showjumper for the Egypt national team, recently proposed Jennifer during the couple's ski trip. After Nassar coming with a perfect snowy surprise in the form of the marriage proposal, Jennifer announced that she is engaged to the Egyptian equestrian on social media this week. 
The eldest daughter of the business magnet posted a photo with Nassar on Instagram while announcing that she is engaged to the Egyptian star athlete. In the adorable photo shared by Gates' daughter, the Stanford graduate can also be seen unknowingly exhibiting a fancy diamond ring. Expressing her happiness after accepting Nassar's marriage proposal, Jennifer shared her reaction with a photo accompanied by her fiance on a picturesque snowbank. 
“Nayel Nassar, you are one of a kind. Absolutely swept me off my feet this past weekend, surprising me in the most meaningful location over one of our many shared passions,” she captioned her post. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives learning, growing, laughing and loving together. Yes a million times over,” she added.

Richer than the riches
Born in Chicago in 1991, Nassar was raised in Kuwait and his Facebook page mentions the beautiful city of Kuwait as his hometown. According to reports, American School of Kuwait used to be his high school and he began polishing his equestrian skills after his family bought him his first horse when he was 10 years old. No brainer, Nassar had a wealthy upbringing as his family has an established design firm in the State of Kuwait. Nassar trained in Europe and went on to become a professional showjumper. 


Just Stanford things! Graduated from same university 
Stanford University will always ring a bell for the future power couple as Jennifer and Nassar are graduates from one of the leading teaching and research institutions in the present world. However, the couple did not attend the university together. Nassar completed his bachelor’s degree in economics from Stamford seven years ago in 2013. Ms Gates on the other began her college life a year later in 2014. As per her LinkedIn profile, she possesses a  bachelor’s degree in Human Biology.    
Future flagbearer of equestrian sports
Acquainted thanks to their common liking of horses, Nassar and Jennifer are believed to be riding since they were kids. As Nassar is nothing but a talisman when comes to equestrianism, Jennifer has been heavily involved in the same sport as began touring countries for competitive tournaments after graduating from Stanford University in 2018. 


Nassar is a professional in the world of horseback riding while Jennifer is amateur but posses a noteworthy resume. The 23-year-old competed in the Longines Global Champions Tour and the Global Champions League. Nassar also has a stable in Southern California. To operate his own stable in the US, Nassar founded Nassar Stables LLC in 2014 and he runs his business through the same in San Diego County.


Will headline the Tokyo Olympics with Egypt 
When the time comes to name famous athletes of Egypt, don't forget to add Nassar's name with Liverpool stalwart or simply the Egyptian King - Mohamed Salah. Nassar was instrumental in Egypt's qualification to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Egypt will touch down Tokyo for the biggest spectacle in the sporting world with their first equestrian team in as many as 60 years. Egypt sealed their berth for the Tokyo Games after emerging triumphant in last year's CSIO4* Nations Cup competition hosted by Morocco in Rabat.

Adorable! Couple recreates 28-year-old photo in similar outfits at same place

A couple who recreated a picture that they clicked 28 years ago is melting the hearts of netizens. Raymon 'Ray' Michael Puzon took to Twitter to share two photographs of his parents standing at a memorial at Lingayen Beach in the Philippines. While the first picture was clicked in 1992, the second was clicked on January 11. The 1992 photo shows his mother wearing a red shirt along with white trousers and his father sported a brown shirt with a white neckline and beige-coloured pants.
