Bhoot teaser out! Vicky Kaushal's first horror film will give you chills

Over the past two years, Vicky Kaushal has made his way into the Bollywood A-listers list. After working in films like Raazi and Sanju in 2018, the actor got a gigantic box-office hit in the form of Uri: The Surgical Strike last year. Vicky is now all geared up to leave the audience terrified with his first horror film, Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship. Also starring Bhumi Pednekar, the movie has been written and directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh.
Yesterday, the producer of the film, Karan Johar piqued our interest by sharing scary posters of Bhoot on social media. And now, the teaser of the movie has finally been released.
The chilling teaser shows a scared Vicky Kaushal walking around a dilapidated ship with a torch and finds blood-stained hand prints on the walls. The prints lead him to a room that has an image of him with blood coming out. In the next shot, Vicky is pulled towards the wall by a series of hands and finally taken in.
The hair-raising shot is a clear indication that this one is not for the fain-hearted. More is to follow when the trailer is released on February 3
A few days ago, with a social media post, Karan had announced a new era is beginning at Dharma Productions as they step into the dark allies of the horror genre, and Bhoot marks the first film in this series.
The first installment of the horror movie series is scheduled to hit the screens on February 21, 2020. Initially, Bhoot was slated to release in November last year. It is being said that the movie is based on a true accident that took place in Mumbai and tells the story of a couple on an abandoned ship lying static on a beach.
Apart from Vicky and Bhumi, Bhoot also features Ashutosh Rana in the lead role. Previously, while talking about the film, Vicky had shared that he wasn't so sure about doing the film before he read the script because he was scared of watching horror movies. But once he read the script of Bhoot, he got sucked into the story.
