WhatsApp Happy New Year 2020 stickers: How to create your own WhatsApp sticker for greeting a new year

2020 is here, and you must be wondering how you can send greetings to your friends and family in a more personal way on WhatsApp since the most widely used messaging app doesn't offer any additional setting for creating or choosing event-specific stickers on WhatsApp. Here in this post, we have you covered and bring you options with which you can create new stickers to greet your loved ones on new year's eve.
To start, WhatsApp doesn't offer any custom option for stickers which means you have to download third-party apps, and this is valid across Android and iOS.

Another important thing to note here is WhatsApp for iPhone doesn't offer an option to download from within the app which means you have to rely on third-party sticker apps and most of them are free apps with limited access to stickers. So if you don't want to spend on on third-party stickers, you can stay away from these.

Android users, on the other hand, have plenty of free apps to check out. We tested the 'Stickers For WhatsApp' which is available on the Google Play store for free.

For those unaware, the stickers app by StickoText acts as a third Party WhatsApp Sticker apps to support adding stickers to WhatsApp. This is not anyway related to or associated with WhatsApp.

How to create WhatsApp sticker for greeting New Year 2020:

  • The app lets users create stickers using text, images (from camera/ Gallery), emoticons (emoji), Memes (funny faces) and share through any social networking chat apps. Open the app and choose the Sticker Maker and follow the instruction.
  • The app also lets users create freehand stickers using a pencil tool and write anything in your language and convert it into stickers.
  • Additionally, you can create unlimited text stickers by typing in your language with different colours and fonts.
  • You can also create personal stickers by converting your transparent background png image to stickers and add text to your stickers.
  • The app supports regional languages including Odia, Bangla, Kanada, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Gujarati, and Hindi.
